the city had a total population of 42,807. It is noted
as a desert resort, approximately 110 miles east of
Los Angeles. Palm Springs' resort features include some
of the most famous golf courses in the country. It is
one of eight adjacent cities that make up the Palm Springs
area.

average family size is 2.88.
