Bartlett is a village located in both Cook County and DuPage County,
Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 36,706.
A 2002 recount gave the village a population of 37,304. The community now known
as the village of Bartlett was named after founder Luther Bartlett who offered
land to the railroad.

are married couples living together, 7.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 18.0%

who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.00 and the average family size is 3.36.
In the village the population is spread out with 31.7% under the age of 18, 5.4% from 18 to 24, 37.8%
from 25 to 44, 19.5% from 45 to 64, and 5.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 34 years.
